Welcoming kids on Sunday mornings, Wednesday afternoons, and at seasonal events
Bridge
Bridge fills Wednesday afternoons with fun, music, and church community for the kids of Central Pres. The whole family is encouraged to come to dinner directly following.
When: Wednesdays from 2:45 to 5:15, Aug 19–Dec 16, and Jan 13–May 5 (except for Nov 25 for Thanksgiving and March 31 for Spring Break).
Cost: $40 materials fee
Transportation: Central buses serve North Pointe, Calhoun, Concord, and Midway.
We are hiring elementary afterschool program staff and infant/toddler childcare staff. Check out these job descriptions for more information and how to apply.
Bridge Schedule
2:45-3:00 Parent drop-off and bus arrival; supervised play in the gym or on the playground.
3:00-3:15 Snack time!
3:15-5:15 Rotations through activities by age group:

Kindlers (4K and 5K) have games, story time, choir, and play

Sparklers (1st and 2nd) rotate games, choir, story activity, and chimes

Acolytes (3rd–5th) move through community time, handbells, and choir
5:15 All children are signed out by parents at pick-up outside the church gym.
Everyone is invited to stay for the Bridge Meal served from 5:15-6:00!
Sunday Worship
Babies and kids of every age are always welcome in the sanctuary❤️
Nursery
Babies to 3-year-olds enjoy play time, songs, and snacks in the nursery during the entire service. Check-in opens during the Sunday School hour.
Children's Church
Preschoolers are invited to come to the first part of the worship service, then head out with their teachers to their own lesson, snack, and songs after the children's message.
Worship Bags
Kids in elementary school stay in the worship service, and have their own bulletins with activities and a version of the day's story, as well as worship bags to help them creatively engage.

Sunday School
Sunday School starts at 9:30 a.m. and everyone in the family has somewhere to be! These classes all meet in the Education Building, and follow the same Narrative Lectionary schedule used in worship.
